Cat's Cradle Presents Umphrey’s McGee – Cruising Altitude 2025 Tour

Cat's Cradle Presents Umphrey’s McGee – Cruising Altitude 2025 Tour

8:30 PM Saxapahaw
Cat's Cradle
Haw River Ballroom

Chicago’s eclectic rock band Umphrey’s McGee has been keeping fans on their toes for nearly 27 years now. Though often pigeonholed into “jam band” circles, Umphrey’s doesn’t fit that traditional mold; and their fans don’t either. Is it prog rock? Song-forward, Beatles-esque arrangements? Be careful, they might hit you with some metal riffs mid-set, too.

I’m Mon, born in Mon Rovia, Liberia. My life can be summed up by being born into a civil war, escaping the life of a child soldier, rescued by the hands of missionaries. Spent a lot of my developmental years living in a variety of places with a number of life experiences. And then layered on top of all of this is the assimilation I felt being a transracially adopted refugee.
