with KORINE Drawing inspiration from the dystopian and chilling worlds of classic cult horror and science fiction films, duo Justin Pointer and Tony Kim embarked on a musical journey that transcends genre boundaries. Korine is a Philadelphia based duo consisting of members Morgy Ramone and Trey Frye. The pair blends new wave nostalgia, early emo, and punk with a modern pop sensibility, contrasting upbeat rhythms against sullen, emotionally evocative lyrics.
